GRAND RAPIDS, MI- This year has been a very exciting one for Kalamazoo|Battle Creek International Airport and everyone involved in its dedication to provide reliable air service to Southwest Michigan. Many construction projects have been taking place and completed at the airport. In light of these accomplishments, the airport received the Deals of the Year award in the Construction/Development category for the new terminal at the JW Marriott in Grand Rapids hosted by Business Review on October 27, 2011. Kalamazoo Airport was not the only entity to walk away with awards; Stryker, Bronson, and WMU were selected in their respective categories as well.
Moshoginis was ecstatic but gave the region and his team the most credit in respect to these accomplishments. “Our good fortune is the direct result of incredible regional support,” said Moshoginis. “The work that our business and governmental communities have put into our efforts highlight their belief in the strong performance of this airport, both in the short and long term.”
