About the Airport

Over one half million passengers use the Kalamazoo/Battle Creek International Airport (AZO) annually. AZO air travelers are served daily with competitive air fares, ample parking that is close to the terminal with reasonable rates and optional credit card payment, short lines with timely check-in, air service to major connecting hubs, jetbridges for convenient boarding onto jet aircraft and so much more.  You can reach any worldwide destination right from Kalamazoo, conveniently and cost effectively!

Serving the southwestern Michigan area, and the Kalamazoo/Battle Creek International Airport with over 40 daily arrivals and departures are:  American Eagle (Chicago O'Hare), Delta Connection/Comair (Cincinnati), Northwest Airlines and Northwest Airlink (Detroit/Minneapolis), and United Express (Chicago O'Hare). This excellent level of air service provides our community with a diverse selection of air carriers and connecting hubs for both domestic and international air travel.

Kalamazoo/Battle Creek International Airport passengers have on-site access to 5 car rental companies, Flight Deck Café, The Old Fisherman's pub, WiFi, CNN, a shoe shine stand, The Fly Buy gift shop, limousine service, a visitor's information booth, an automatic teller machine, real estate company, and skycaps. 

General aviation has always played a very big part in the airport's daily operations.  General aviation makes up over 77% of the daily air traffic and includes local flying clubs, charter service and private aircraft owners. Fixed based operators are Duncan Aviation and Kalamazoo Aircraft along with a self-serve fueling facility at the Kalamazoo Pilot's Association.
